In this course
this course aims to teach students the essential elements and fundamental tools of Autodesk Revit Architecture. Students will get comfortable with the Revit environment, and learn the basic drawing tools in the Revit Architectural, and understand and analyse the output of the design information in addition to sections, projections and tables. At the end of the course, participants are required to submit a project in converting and directing AutoCAD files.
Course Objectives
- Introduce participants to navigation and views, plan and elevation levels, and drawing tools and shortcuts.
- Understanding the difference between instance and types.
- Understand the user interface and 2d, 3d views.
- Enable participants to use templates and basic project settings.
- Enable participants to create levels and grids as datum elements for the model.
- Enable participants to create 2D plans, thus creating automatic 3D designs and presentations.
- Enable participants to design buildings, and 3D components.
- Learn how to illustrate patterns and designs in 2D elements.
- Learn how to import blocks and cad files and deal with it
- Final full task
