COURSE STRUCTURE FOR KASLIK WORKSHOP
Implementing Ai in the design process
1. Introduction
• Personal background in AI-driven design
• What is AI, and why AI in Architecture?
• How do Architecture firms implement AI?
• Objectives of the session:
- Brainstorming with Ai
- Pre-concepts
- Rendering
- Animation
- 3d modeling
- Urban Analysis
2. Introducing Midjourneyi
● How to use Midjourney?
● Interface
● How to write a prompt?
● How to set parameters ?
3. Hands-on Demonstrations and Experimenting Midjourney for brainstorming
• Brainstorming Conceptual Skyscraper Ideas with MidJourney
• Prompt writing strategies
• Live demo: Generating design concepts
Activity: 3 concept images of a futuristic skyscraper
4. Hands-on Demonstrations and Experimenting Midjourney for pre-concepts
• Generating pre-conceptual Ideas for a futuristic cabin using MidJourney
• Prompt writing strategies
• Live demo: Generating design concepts
Activity: 3 conceptual images of a futuristic cabin / house or a project of your choice that you can model it later
5. Hands-on Demonstrations and Experimenting MNML AI for brainstorming and pre-concepts
• Generating Conceptual Ideas with MidJourney
• Prompt writing strategies for architects
• Live demo: Generating design concepts
6. Rendering with midjourney
• Generating rendered images to d views with the retexture feature
Activity: Make a 3d model to one of the ai generated pre-concepts, and take screenshots, then renderer them with midjourney (3 exterior renders, 1 interior render)
7. Rendering with MNML AI
• Generating rendered images to d views with the retexture features
8. Generating 3D models with Ai and exploring Krea Ai
• Generating a 3d sofa from a 2d image
• Exploring Krea tools
• Real-Time Rendering with KREA.AI
Activity:
Participants try rendering a previous image Homework: Creating a real time sketch of house and visualise the realistic image of the project
9. Animating 2d renderings with Kling Ai
• Creating animation
• Generating sounds
Activity:
Create animation to the previous air-rendered images (2 exterior videos, 1 interior video)
10. Urban Analysis using Aino world
• Intro to Aino’s AI-driven urban/site analysis
• Demo: Generating contextual design intelligence
• Activity: Analyze a site and interpret data visually
Activity:
Make a site analysis to the location of your choice ( exemple Geneva )
Final Test
• Participants choose a concept and:
• Refine it with tools of choice
• Optionally integrate Midjourney or Mnml Ai
• Model the concept and render it with Ai
• Animate renders with Ai
• Make an Urban Analysis with Aino
Submission: 1-page PDF with final image, description, tools used, and reflection
